Why Charging Cables are Cut

This BP Pulse site uses DC fast charging CCS cables, designed to deliver high-power charging to electric vehicles. Both cables at this unit were intentionally cut due to copper theft and vandalism, taking the charger out of service immediately.

This is a common issue affecting public DC fast charging infrastructure.

Depending on the site, responsibility for repairs can fall on different parties — sometimes the network provider (BP Pulse), sometimes the site host (gas station owner), or both. Either way, downtime means lost revenue and reduced customer access.

Cable Replacement & Restoration

DuraPower Solutions removed the damaged CCS cables and installed new replacements, restoring the charger back to full operation. All connections were secured and tested to ensure safe and reliable performance.

We support EV charging sites across different ownership models — whether you’re a property owner, network operator, or managing contractor —providing fast, dependable service to keep your chargers online and revenue flowing.

EV Charger Commissioning – Fleet Infrastructure

This project involved commissioning ChargePoint DC fast chargers at a transit authority facility. These systems support daily fleet operations, where reliability and uptime are critical.

DuraPower Solutions verified electrical connections, brought units online, configured communication, and performed full operational testing to ensure safe and reliable performance.

We support fleet charging systems with commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment replacement—keeping critical infrastructure online and ready for daily use.
